I am a licensed clinical social worker in California. I obtained my master’s degree in social work at the University of Nevada, Reno and conducted my clinical internship in Reno, NV. I am currently an active member of NASW California Chapter as well as a clinical supervisor for those pursuing licensure in the counseling fields. Additionally, I have over 15 years of experience working in the field of social work within juvenile justice, child welfare, and public school systems. I'm fluent in Spanish and provide psychotherapy in Spanish.

My areas of expertise are trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, and parenting/co-parenting. I am trained in several evidence based treatment modalities including Trauma Focused CBT, Trauma Resiliency Model, ACT, Circle of Security Parenting and Solution-Focused, Brief Therapy.

I live in Half Moon Bay, California with my husband and two children. In our free time, we love to hike and take walks at the beach with our Chocolate Labrador Retriever. We also spend a lot of time in the mountains in the Lake Tahoe/Truckee area. We love to snowboard in the winter and spend time at the lake in the summer!

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is trained to provide counseling and psychotherapy with individuals, families, or groups. An LCSW has obtained 3,200hours of supervised experience, in addition to completing a master’s degree.
